MIC App – Updated Privacy Policy (Final Version)

MIC App is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our application.


1. Information We Collect

MIC App uses several Firebase services. These services may automatically collect non-personal, diagnostic, and performance-related data to help improve app functionality.

Below is a complete list of all services you are currently using inside the app.


1.1 Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics automatically collects:

  • Device model and OS version

  • Country/region

  • Session duration

  • App usage events

  • Interactions inside the app

Purpose: Improve app performance and understand basic usage patterns.


1.2 Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

FCM may collect:

  • Device notification token

  • Notification delivery status

Purpose: Send important notifications such as updates, alerts, or feature changes.


1.3 Firebase In-App Messaging

Automatically collects:

  • App events

  • Device information

  • Whether user viewed or dismissed an in-app message

Purpose: Show important in-app updates or guidance.


1.4 Firebase Remote Config

Collects:

  • App version

  • Device information

  • A/B testing data

Purpose: Dynamically change small parts of the app without forcing updates.


1.5 Firebase Firestore (Read-Only Database)

MIC App uses Firestore only to READ non-personal data, such as:

  • IC codes

  • Database entries related to the MIC tool

Important Notes:

  • We do not store personal user data in Firestore.

  • We do not upload device info, login data, names, emails, CNIC, or any identifiers.

  • Firestore is used strictly read-only.


1.6 Firebase Crashlytics

Crashlytics collects:

  • Crash logs

  • Device information

  • App version

  • Stack traces

Purpose: Diagnose crashes and improve stability.


1.7 Firebase App Check

Collects verification signals to ensure that the app is used securely and prevents unauthorized access.


1.8 Firebase Authentication (SDK Included but Disabled)

The app currently includes the Firebase Authentication SDK, however:

  • Login / Account Creation / Sign-In features are disabled.

  • Users cannot create an account or sign in.

  • No personal data is collected through Authentication.

This SDK is present because the feature may be enabled in future releases, but it is not active in the current version.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use automatically collected information only to:

  • Improve app performance

  • Fix crashes and technical issues

  • Enhance usability and user experience

  • Protect the app from abuse

  • Deliver notifications and in-app messages

  • Run A/B tests and Remote Config updates

We never sell, rent, or misuse your information.


3. Third-Party Sharing

Your data is processed only by:

  • Google Firebase Services

  • Google Analytics for Firebase

  • Firebase Crashlytics

We do not share your data with advertising companies or any third party outside these services.


4. Data Retention & Deletion

Firebase may automatically store some diagnostic and analytics data.

If you wish to request deletion of your identifiable data (such as notification token or device-linked crash logs), email us at:

We will respond within 48 hours.


5. Children’s Privacy

MIC App is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally.
Any changes will be posted on this page.

    • Device model

    • App version

    • Any other relevant details

  • Firebase Analytics usage data

  • Crash logs linked to your device

  • Notification tokens (if any)

  • Anonymous aggregated analytics

  • Non-identifiable crash statistics

All deletion requests are processed within 48 hours.
